Spent Caustic Treatment plant

Scope

Technical management of civil construction for a 300 MW gas turbine plant on a design-build basis, including seismically designed structures.

Site supervision of turbine and generator foundations and erection of the steel turbine hall with integral 85 t gantry crane.

Local subcontracts for external utilities: water treatment and distribution, roads and drainage, piled support for the gas delivery pipeline from the adjacent port.

Commissioning coordination, witness testing and completion certificates under the GCOC; final account, variations and claims agreed with the client.

Outcome

Plant completed and commissioned; final account closed including resolution of variation and claim submittals.
