Scope

Route planning and detailed design of 20 km of micro-tunnelled trunk sewer, up to 2.4 m diameter, through central Jakarta.

Feasibility study identifying core network segments for priority financing; institutional programme linking government and water utility providers.

Design of wastewater treatment facilities: plug-flow activated sludge reactors with cellular recycle, sedimentation and sludge treatment.

Contractor pre-qualification, tender documents and pre-award negotiation support.

Outcome

Priority sewer segments defined and tendered; design basis set for staged financing of the city network.
