Umm-BAB sea water intake & pumping station

Scope

Sea water intake to a large pumping station: submerged concrete diffuser structure with stone protection apron and a 2 km dredged basin protected by substantial breakwaters.

Reclamation of 80 ha of shallow sea area behind rock berms for future LPG storage tanks.

Precast concrete block quay wall at Mesaieed Port for crushed-stone importation, with full port service infrastructure: power and water distribution, storm and wastewater drainage, pumping stations.

Outcome

Marine facilities delivered under EPIC contracts for QP; port brought to full operational support.
